Sporting aims and achievements
Physical Education forms an important part of the school curriculum with educational gymnastics, games, swimming and dance all being taught.
Our aims are
- to encourage children to participate to a wide range of sporting activities
- to stress the importance of exercise for healthy living
- to develop individual skill and confidence
- to encourage a competitive and sporting attitude
Over the year netball, basketball, tag rugby, short tennis, football and athletics may be offered as extra curricular activities for the children. We also have specialist coaching during some curriculum sessions from outside agencies.
