Mission statement

The school is committed, within a broadly Christian context to, educational excellence and the spiritual, moral and cultural development of its pupils.  It aims to achieve this in all areas of its activity through all subjects of the curriculum.

The school recognises and affirms its Church of England foundation and greatly values its special, historic and continuing link with the Holy Cross Parish Church.  However, it also recognises the ecumenical dimension within Christianity and seeks to reflect this in its contact with other local churches.
