Extra curricular activities

Activities and clubs are organised outside school hours.  Depending on the availability of staff, these may include Athletics, Recorders, Choir, Handbells, Short Tennis, Netball, Tag Rugby and Basketball, Art, Craft, Gardening and Eco, Design Technology and CC4G (Computer Clubs for Girls).

Football and French are clubs run by outside groups for which fees have to be paid.

During the normal school day there is music tuition for violin, cello, Woodwind and Brass.  These places are very limited and the Music School selects the pupils on ability.  There is a fee for Violin, Woodwind and Brass tuition.

Other opportunities during the year for specific groups include Basketball Training, Football Coaching, Rugby Coaching, Music and Cycling Proficiency.

Children benefit from the variety of experiences we can give them and the governors and staff would like to continue and extend the opportunities for children, so if you have an hour to spare, a desire to help children, or a talent to be exploited then please contact the school.
