Complaints procedure
We hope that because we have an emphasis on partnership, all problems can be dealt with on an informal basis. The first person to contact is the child’s class teacher and then, if necessary, the Headteacher. However, if concerns cannot be resolved informally, Northants County Council has a procedure for the consideration of complaints about the actions of school, Governing bodies or the County Council over the school curriculum and related matters. These include religious education and worship, the operation of charging policies and provision of information.
The Secretary of State for Education has approved this procedure. The Headteacher will show you a copy on request. Complaints about other matters such as discipline and admissions do not come within the scope of the procedure. The Headteacher will advise you of the arrangements made for such appeals.
